ABOUT PHASE

Robotics is entering
a new phase.

We follow the transition from specialised machines to general-purpose physical intelligence—and the work between a compelling demonstration and a useful robot.

An independent publication covering Unitree Robotics, humanoids, quadrupeds and the wider robotics industry.

OUR FOCUS

From the lab
to the physical world.

PHASE exists for readers who want to understand what robots can do, what still limits them and what it takes to put them to work. We connect technical developments with their commercial and practical consequences.

Unitree is an early focus, but not the boundary of our coverage. We follow robot learning, embodied AI, the companies building machines and the people using them. For Australian readers, that also means looking closely at configurations, suppliers, support and the realities of ownership.

EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE

Claims deserve
a closer look.

We distinguish company claims from independent evidence, and reporting from interpretation. A demonstration is not proof of reliability. A specification comparison is not a hands-on review.

Sources should be visible, uncertainty should be stated and substantial corrections should remain on the affected article. AI can assist the editorial process; responsibility for what we publish stays with the human editor.

PHASE SHIFT is our editorial assessment of progress towards general-purpose physical intelligence. It is not a scientific measurement, an objective probability or a prediction.
