AUSTRALIA / BUYER RESOURCES

Buy the machine.
Know the support.

Buying Unitree in Australia starts with the whole picture: the right configuration, a clear supply route and a plan for when something needs fixing.

Independent buyer research. PHASE is not a robot seller or an authorised Unitree reseller.

THE SUPPLY SIDE

Australian suppliers.
An open evidence trail.

We check what suppliers publish about their range and support, then make the gaps visible. A supplier’s own authorisation claim is not confirmation from Unitree.

BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Six things.
In writing.

The purchase price is one line in the decision. Use these questions to compare complete offers.

  1. The exact machine

Get the model, edition, compute, sensors, batteries, controller and software access on the quote. Similar model names can conceal very different packages.

  2. The delivered price

Ask for an AUD total showing GST, freight, any import costs, setup and recurring software or support charges. Compare local purchase and direct import on the same scope.

  3. Stock and acceptance

Ask where the unit is held, what the delivery estimate depends on, and how you will confirm that the delivered configuration works as agreed.

  4. Who fixes it

Get the warranty period, exclusions, repair destination, freight responsibility, parts lead times and escalation contact in writing. Local support need not mean local repair.

  5. Access for your work

For research, ask for a demonstration of the required SDK, control interfaces and documentation on the exact edition. Clarify licence restrictions and supported firmware.

  6. A deployment, not just a demo

For business use, define the task, environment, supervision and acceptance test. Separate robot supply from integration, training, maintenance and ongoing support.

FROM THE COMMUNITY

Useful questions.
Not a verdict.

Owner discussions can reveal what to ask. These historical, international forum threads are anecdotal; they are not reviews of the Australian suppliers above, proof of a defect rate or current product specifications.

When an update becomes a support problem

A Go2 owner described trouble after an update and difficulties with replacement parts. DroneBlocks replied that it could not identify a purchase under the poster’s name and offered help. The seller, diagnosis and eventual outcome were not independently established.

Ask before buying: Who handles firmware recovery, diagnosis and parts replacement, and where does the robot go?

Buy for the access you actually need

A prospective buyer asked about Go2 Pro versus EDU programming access. The vendor’s reply described its EDU teaching focus and uncertainty at that time. This is a historical buying question, not evidence of today’s SDK support.

Ask before buying: Can the supplier demonstrate your required interface on the exact edition and firmware being offered?

OUR APPROACH

Evidence before endorsement.

Initial public-source review: . Each supplier profile links the material reviewed and identifies what remains unconfirmed. This is desk research, not a workshop inspection, service test or certification.

Supplier pages establish what a supplier says. Manufacturer confirmation is needed before PHASE describes an authorisation as independently verified. Stock, prices, terms and relationships can change.

Manufacturer terms are a useful starting point for questions about modifications and repairs; confirm the terms for your purchase. Unitree after-sales terms .

A warranty is additional to applicable Australian consumer guarantees; it does not replace them. ACCC guidance on warranties .
